As part of Muzeo’s I Am an American Art & Education Series, Muzeo is proud to present a FREE day of Japanese performing arts.  This colorful, musical and fun event will take place in the Muzeo Plaza and is open to everyone.  Witness the power of taiko, the beauty of Bon Odori, the skill of the samurai and more! Join us in learning the art of origami and then visit the exhibition I Am an American as kids are free this day with any paid adult admission!* It’s a fun, free afternoon and only happens at Muzeo Museum and Cultural Center.

  • There will also be Japanese bakery items to purchase from Japanese bakery Okayama Kobo!

*The street event is free, admission to I Am an American exhibit still applies. Kids are free to the exhibit only on this street event day with any paid adult admission.

With sunny Southern California weather, many of our special events are held in our pristinely manicured outdoor space, which includes beautiful waterscapes, ambient lighting, olive trees and bamboo lining the plaza. Available for private event rental.
