THIS MONTH: 'Stroke Detection, Prevention, Diagnosis and Treatment' presented by Mariellen Sereno of Anaheim Regional Medical Center

Mariellen Sereno (Anaheim Regional Medical Center) will present important information on heart care, waring signs for strokes and more. Learners will be able to: Recognize the signs of a stroke and the proper response. Discuss the essentials of stroke prevention, identify the diagnostic and treatment.

Workshop by Loretta Alvarado. In this hands-on workshop participants will create a unique piece of art using fabric scraps. This project is for intermediate to advanced quilters and requires the use of a sewing machine and an iron. Participants will need to bring their sewing machine.

Bring your UFO's (Un-Finished Objects) or start something new at this fun sewing workshop. Local costume designer, Bronwen Burton, will be here to help. Sewing machines will not be provided, please bring your own if you require one.

Ticket includes admission to Quilts, sewing instruction, open wine bar and refreshments.
