Muzeo Museum & Cultural Center presents

Anaheim Elementary School District – Look Within

November 8, 2019 in the Carnegie and runs through December 1, 2019
Wednesday through Sunday, 10 AM To 5 PM Daily
Free Admission

Muzeo Museum and Cultural Center is proud to be partnering with the Anaheim Elementary School District (AESD) to showcase the exhibition, Look Within.  The district participates in the national PTA program Reflections, which helps students explore their own thoughts, feelings and ideas, develop artistic literacy, increase confidence, and find a love for learning that will help them become more successful in school and in life.

AESD students from across the district participated to create original works of art in response to a student-select theme.  This year’s theme, Look Within, asked students to reflect upon themselves and create art in one or all of the available categories–dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography and/or visual arts.  The contest encourages students to look within and:

  • Unleash creative talents and be inspired
  • Express themselves imaginatively in their artwork
  • Experience the fun and joy of making art
  • Tap into critical thinking skills to create art inspired by the annual theme
  • Receive positive recognition for their original works of art

Muzeo is happy to present a selection of these works of student art for the entire community to see.
