In celebration of Día de los Muertos, Muzeo is hosting a Community Altar display. We will miss seeing everyone at the City of Anaheim’s Night of Culture and Celebration this year – but we can still honor our departed loved ones and ancestors. We invite you to contribute a photo and/or any traditional decor to our Community Altar on October 31.
How to Contribute to the Altar
- Come by Muzeo anytime on October 31 to drop off your photo(s)
- Alternatively, you can drop your photo at Muzeo’s booth at the Downtown Anaheim Farmers Market on October 22, 2020
- Or, if you’re not able to come in person but you still want to participate, email us your photo at [email protected]
What to Bring
- Photo(s)
- Family-friendly décor that you don’t mind parting with such as flowers, papel picado, or sugar skulls (it won’t be returned)
What NOT to Bring
- No Food
- No Alcohol
- Please do not bring photos or décor that you expect to have returned
- Please do not bring photos or décor that could be considered explicit or offensive (it will be removed)
How to View the Altar
- Drop by Muzeo’s Carnegie Building anytime on October 31 or November 1
- Wear a mask and maintain social distance
- Feel free to take pictures and tag @muzeo
