Join us for an informative presentation from Cops 4 Kids, a program established to serve all children between the ages of 5 and 17 who live in or attend school in Anaheim.

Topics include: Youth Services, Junior Cadet Program, the Anaheim Police Explorer Post and more

About C4K

The Anaheim Police Activities League (APAL) and Cops 4 Kids (C4K) were established to serve all children between the ages of 6 and 17 who live in or attend school in Anaheim. C4K and the APAL aims to develop the foundational qualities of respect, responsibility, and discipline by providing structured programs that foster a positive relationship between police and youth.

About Joe Vargas

Joe Vargas is a Board Member for Cops 4 Kids. Vargas retired from the Anaheim Police Department in 2010 after 30 years of service. At the time of his retirement Vargas was Captain of the Investigations Division.
Joe Vargas comes from a law enforcement family and is a second generation police officer. His father Jose Vargas served with the Santa Ana Department for 34 years. His brother is currently a detective for Anaheim PD and his nephew is also an Anaheim police officer.

Carnegie Gallery

The Historic 1908 Carnegie Library is on the United States National Register of Historic Places, and was built using a 10K grant funded by Andrew Carnegie. It served as the city library until 1963, then became home to the Anaheim Museum in 1987 before becoming part of Muzeo in 2007. Available for private event rental.
