About Southern California Hospice Foundation

The Southern California Hospice Foundation was established in 2002 to promote awareness of palliative care options for terminally ill children and adults, helping to enhance the quality of life for those at the end-of-life. Generous donations support our programs that are designed to attend physically and emotionally to each patient’s well-being. By supporting the Southern California Hospice Foundation, you become part of a compassionate effort that is uniquely focused on quality of life rather than quantity of days.

About Michelle Wulfestieg

With the heart of a servant-leader, Michelle Wulfestieg is two-time stroke survivor who understands just how precious life is and believes that as long as you are here, you have a purpose. Her own health struggles drew her to the field of Hospice where she has dedicated her life’s work for the last ten years, which is described in her award-winning book, “All We Have Is Today: A Story of Discovering Purpose.” She currently serves as the Executive Director the Southern California Hospice Foundation (SCHF), an organization successful at fulfilling final wishes for terminally ill patients. Additionally, she partnered with Showtime Television where she helped produce the ground-breaking documentary, “Time of Death,” which aired in November of 2013. Beyond that, she is a motivational speaker and a talented grant writer, effectively receiving funding from Disney, Nordstrom, and the Moyer Foundation.
