Make Believe at MUZEO

MUZEO is welcoming guests back for a soft opening and pop-up event with the magical Museum of Make Believe!

During this whimsical late afternoon affair, booths will abound with creative crafts, activities, and tasty treats. Try your hand at candle dipping, create a dragon puppet, learn Morse code on an 1800’s telegraph, have your fortune told, experience a vintage tintype photograph demonstration, plant spring flowers to take home, and dig for gemstone treasure! With games, prize giveaways, fun, and refreshments in a vividly colored springtime setting, you’ll want to bring the whole family! (Please note that some of these activities require an additional purchase).

Then, gather around our stage as we unveil the secret to eternal youth! At the show, set in the soft light and brilliant colors of an enchanted spring evening, you’ll be delighted by fairy tales from local authors, charming original shadow puppetry, a pair of magicians from the world-famous Magic Castle in Hollywood, and an otherworldly demonstration of  a laterna magica or magic lantern (think of it as the projector of the 19th century) by a Walt Disney Studios Technologist. To end the show, if you are lucky, you may even take home a prize that will unlock the mysterious power of make believe!

To reserve tickets, please visit the Eventbrite or find the red Book Online button in the details tab below. See the Details Tab below for more information about accessibility, COVID protocols, and more.
