Featuring Frank Barry: author of The Military Seed: Life Lessons Learned in the United States Military. This is his second book in the Seeds Quartet, the first being The Seminary Seeds: Life Lessons Learned in the Seminary. The latest installment is the story of Patrick Brennan and his life’s journey of discovery and re-discovery. Frank Barry is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts-Boston Harbor Campus. He has held teaching credentials in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and California. He credits his seminary education for being chosen as a linguist in the United States Air Force (Indonesian, Vietnamese, and Hebrew Languages). He has retired from teaching high school English and English as a Second Language and Workplace English instructor in companies throughout Southern California. He volunteers his time with the Kiwanis Club of Greater Anaheim and is Region Advisor to Key Clubs-the high school service organization of Kiwanis. He is chairperson of the Economic Opportunities Committee for the Vietnam Veterans of America whose mission is to advocate for and develop programs that improve the well being of veterans and their families. He is secretary of the Anaheim Public Library Foundation. |
