Jonathan Brown grew up playing drums and loving Chandler, Hammet, and Himes. He also really dug The Rockford Files and Magnum PI. He teaches drums, is a practitioner of Hapkido karate, a fitness trainer, and writes stories in between all the aforementioned jazz. A court clerk in the 80’s Jonathan had a bad habit of falling asleep during the slower-moving trials. As a way to combat this, he took one of the cases, re-wrote fabricated, and took poetic license all over the place. He included many of my fellow clerks and naturally wrote himself as the PI that saves the day and gets the girl. His co-workers loved the story and he caught the writer’s fever.
