Ed Aymar’s newest novel, They’re Gone, will be published in November 2020 (under his pseudonym E.A. Barres). He is the author of The Unrepentant, I’ll Sleep When You’re Dead, and You’re As Good As Dead . He is also the co-editor of the novels in stories, The NIght of the Flood and The Swamp Killers. His column, Decisions and Revisions, appears monthly in the Washington Independent Review of Books. He is a former member of the national board of the International Thriller Writers and, for years, was the managing editor of The Thrill Begins, an online resource for debut and aspiring writers. Aymar is an active member of the Mystery Writers of America, Crime Writers of Color, and Sisters in Crime. He also runs the Noir at the Bar series for Washington, D.C. He was born in Panama, holds a Masters in Literature. He lives with his wife and son, and a small animal menagerie, just outside of D.C.

S.A. Cosby is an Anthony award winning writer from Southeastern Virginia. His short fiction has appeared in numerous anthologies and magazines His story “Slant-Six” was selected as a Distinguished Story in Best American Mystery Stories for 2016.. His short story “The Grass Beneath My Feet” won the Anthony award for best short story in 2019.

His writing has been called ” gritty and heartbreaking ” and ” dark, thrilling and tragic “. His style and tone is influenced by his varied life experiences which includes but are not limited to being a bouncer, construction worker, retail manager and for six hours a mascot for a major fast food chain inside the world’s hottest costume. When he isn’t crafting tales of murder and mayhem he assists the dedicated staff at J.K .Redmind Funeral home as a mortician’s assistant. He is also known as one hell of a chess player… Actually it’s checkers, he’s good at checkers.

Peppur Chambers is an international writer/actor/director who strives to live her voice and inspires others to do the same.  For the past twelve years, she has been developing her women’s lifestyle brand, Brown Betties ™ which includes an award-winning web series (Brown Betties Guide: How to Look For Love In All The Wrong Places), women’s empowerment workshops (Be Your Own Bettie), a dinner-theater show (“Harlem’s Night: A Cabaret Story”) and her published novella, Harlem’s Awakening (Black Hill Press, 2013), of which she’s currently writing the second installment.

Her original plays “House Rules”, “The Build UP”, “Dick & Jayne Get A Life” and her one-woman show based on her novella, “Harlem’s Awakening: Storytelling Live” (nominated for performer award) have been produced in Los Angeles and Prague.

A graduate of Marquette University’s College of Journalism (BA Advertising/Marketing), Peppur taught journalism at Prague College and has contributed to Circle+Bloom, Prague Pulse Magazine, Bridge/Gate Magazines, Boned, Prague Literary Microfestival, Humor Mill Magazine, LA Beat, and The Firm FM radio show where she did a weekly, relationship-advice segment, “Keep It Spicy”. She’s also a freelance Social Media and Marketing Content creator for small businesses through her company Pen & Peppur, LLC.
