About Leonardo Gonzalez

Leonardo González lives and works in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. He has been a member of several contemporary art workshops that include Madhouse (1999), ARTERY (1999-2001), and the Rooming House (2002-2005). He holds a Bachelor of Arts from the National School of Fine Arts, Comayagüela, and a Bachelor of Social Communication.

About Angel Delgado

Angel Delgado was born in Cuba in 1965. A visual artist who includes performances in his practice, Angel Delgado centers his work on the issue of individual liberty, or the lack there, having been sent to prison for six months in the early 1990s for a scandal due to a public performance that he presented in Havana, Cuba.

About Marisa Caichiolo

Marisa Caichiolo obtained her BA in Art History and PhD in Psychology from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). Her curatorial work focuses on contemporary international art practices, specializing in Latin America. Caichiolo is one of the founders and the chief curator of the Los Angeles-based Building Bridges International Art Foundation and became part of the Council of Exhibitions and Acquisitions at the Museum of Latin American Art in Long Beach, California.

About Aline Sardão

Orchestral and Operatic conductor, Maestra Aline Sardão is a native of Brazil. Music Director and Conductor of Orange County Symphony, Aline has conducted orchestras and ensembles in Europe, Brazil and United States.

About Joe Purtell

Joe Purtell is Supervising Librarian at Anaheim Public Library. He is leading this year’s Anaheim community read: “Into the Beautiful North” by Luis Alberto Urrea. This book details an adventure ranging from Mexico to America, exploring the border through heartbreak and humor.
