Anaheim, CA – MUZEO Museum and Cultural Center in partnership with CSUF Begovich Gallery is pleased to announce CSUF MFA at MUZEO, a group exhibition showcasing works of nine graduating students completing their Master’s degree in the Visual Arts at Cal State Fullerton.

CSUF MFA at MUZEO presents a unique opportunity for the public to preview the next phase of the students' artistic practice beyond their time at CSU Fullerton. Various forms of media such as illustrations, installations, paintings, and sculptures demonstrate the scope of current artistic practices. The exhibition features work based on the common thread of the human condition while also demonstrating the evolution of each artist's studio practice before and during the COVID-19 outbreak. Like many art students completing the 2020-2021 academic year, their education experience was transformed. Specifically, they could not set foot into their campus studios to work amongst their peers, nor could they mount their thesis exhibitions at CSU Fullerton due to health and safety protocols. However, the works of these artists express their resilience and drive to communicate their artistic visions, optimisms, and concerns.

CSUF MFA at MUZEO is organized by MUZEO Museum & Cultural Center and CSUF Begovich Gallery. Support for the exhibition is made possible through the City of Anaheim, the Downtown Anaheim Association, The Art Alliance, CSUF College of the Arts, and CSUF Department of Visual Arts.
