MUZEO’s Fall Outdoor Movie Night Presents: “The Nightmare Before Christmas”

Get into the spirit of the season with this free, family-friendly outdoor movie series in the MUZEO courtyard. Bring your own chairs and lots of cozy blankets as we watch movies under the stars! Concessions and specialty fall drinks will be available for purchase. Picnics from home or dinner from our local restaurants are encouraged as well. Look for crafts or contests starting at 5:00 PM with the movie starting at sunset.

Our featured film for October 19th is 1993’s stop motion classic: Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas rated PG. The film follows the misadventures of Jack Skellington, Halloweentown’s beloved pumpkin king, who has become bored with the same annual routine of frightening people in the “real world.” When Jack accidentally stumbles on Christmastown, all bright colors and warm spirits, he gets a new lease on life — he plots to bring Christmas under his control by kidnapping Santa Claus and taking over the role. But Jack soon discovers even the best-laid plans of mice and skeleton men can go seriously awry.
